Bay Dredgers Ltd

To diversify the business portfolio of the group, a new venture named Bay Dredgers Ltd. was established in 2016. The company is engaged in dredging operations across Bangladesh, including river dredging, extraction of silt from riverbeds and deposition along riverbanks, dredging of smaller rivers and canals to prevent siltation, land reclamation, filling of low-lying areas and ditches, and maintenance of navigational channels in seaports and other waterways. Bay Dredgers Ltd. operates under government, semi-government, autonomous bodies, as well as public and private sector projects throughout Bangladesh. The company is also involved in the import and export of all types of dredgers, spare parts, and related accessories for operational use, rehabilitation, and other purposes. Currently, Bay Dredgers Ltd. operates two dredger fleets. The company has significant growth potential, with extensive opportunities available in both government and private sectors. It has already been awarded projects worth approximately BDT 300 crore from two different projects, and the company foresees business opportunities exceeding BDT 1,000 crore in the near future.
