Beyond his corporate duties, Mr. Rahman holds a Directorship on the Executive Body of the Leather Goods & Footwear Manufacturers & Exporters Association of Bangladesh (LFMEAB) and is an active member of several influential organizations, including the FBCCI, the Japan-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Navy Boat Club, Dhaka Club, and Kurmitola Golf Club. He also serves as the Organizer of the Premier Division Cricket Team, "City Club."
