Jute Alliance Limited (JAL) is a joint venture between Samuda Chemical Complex Ltd. and Bay Group, established in February 2022 to revive Bangladesh’s historic jute industry and create employment opportunities in the agro-sector.

JAL is a fully export-oriented jute mill with a 300,000+ sq. ft. production floor, 2,800+ employees, and 100+ experienced management professionals. In its first year of operation, the company achieved US$15 million in export proceeds.

With a strong focus on quality, sustainability, employment generation, and global markets, JAL is committed to “Reclaiming the Heritage” of Bangladeshi jute.
