Mr. Shamsur Rahman is the Founder & Chairman of Bay Group. A hardworking & charismatic individual, Mr. Rahman started his career in Bangladesh Civil Service in 1973. And after early retirement from the Civil Service, Mr. Rahman started his venture with Bay Tanneries Ltd. in 1977. Since then, his relentless efforts grew the Group to what we see today. He was former Vice President, Bangladesh Chamber of Industries. Advisor, Bangladesh finished leather, leather goods & footwear exporters association.

Academic Qualification : Bachelor of Commerce.
Experience(Govt. Service) : Former Member of BCS Cadre Service Voluntarily.
Experience : About 40 years practical experience in leather & footwear.
Position in Association : Former Vice President, Bangladesh Chamber of Industries. Advisor, Bangladesh Finished Leather, Leather Goods & Footwear Exporters Association.
Achievements/Awards : 16 Time Winner of National Export Trophy in Leather Sector.
Social Welfare Activities : Founder of Govt. Shamsur Rahman College, Gosairhut, Shariatpur. Samantasar High School, Gosairhut, Shariatpur.
